303-19 Standard operating steps of using hall flowmeter to test the fluidity of metal powder
AS-300A Automatic Hall Flowmeter P/N 33698
Weigh 50g sample as one part, can be accurate to ±0.1g.
Close the hole at the bottom of the funnel of HMKTest Hall Flowmeter and pour the weighed 50g sample into the funnel. Note that the powder must be filled with the whole hole at the bottom of the hall funnel.
Start the timer when the hole in the hall flow funnel is opened. As soon as the powder in the hopper of the hall flowmeter runs out, the timing stops.
Record the time required for all samples to flow through the funnel, and repeat it three times. Take the arithmetic mean of the time, and record the time accurately to 0.2 second.
If the powder does not flow when the hole is opened, tap on the funnel to start the powder flowing.
